Customer Volume Analysis Report

This report provides comprehensive insights into trading volume metrics and customer trading behavior, helping you analyze trading activity, identify high-volume customers, and understand market engagement patterns.
Accessing the Report
- Navigate to Customers > Reports > Customer Volume Analysis.
- Set Date Range: Use the date picker to select your desired analysis period.

Understanding the Report
The report aggregates trading volume data:
- Total Trade Size: Complete size of all trades created during the selected date range (in lots or base currency units)
- Open Trade Size: Size of trades that remain open at the end of the selected period
- Closed Trade Size: Size of trades that were closed during the selected date range
- Active Customers: Number of unique customers who opened trades during the period
- Trade Count: Total number of individual trades created during the selected period
Account Volume Details:
For each customer's trading accounts, the report shows:
- Account Number & Type: Specific account identifier and account type (e.g., "25307 — HEX PRO", "25224 — HEX CLASSIC")
- Total Volume: Complete trade size for the account during the period
- Open Volume: Current open position sizes
- Closed Volume: Volume of positions that were closed during the period
Using the Data
Revenue Analysis
- Commission Calculation: Calculate commission revenue based on total trade volumes
- Top Revenue Generators: Identify top revenue-generating customers and accounts
- Volume Trends: Track volume patterns over different time periods for revenue forecasting
- Product Performance: Analyze which products/instruments generate most revenue
Customer Segmentation
- Volume Classification: Classify customers by trading volume (high, medium, low volume traders)
