Configure Copy Trading & Bot Trading
Goal: Enable copy trading and bot trading on the platform, understand the key settings for each, and know how to monitor and intervene when needed. Who does this: Admin / Owner Before you start: Both modules must first be toggled on in Settings → Product Configs. Trading account types and platform symbols must already be configured — see the New Tenant Setup Checklist.
Steps
Enable the modules
- Admin / Owner Enable Copy Trading and Bot Trading in Product Configs. Go to Settings → Product Configs and toggle on Copy Trading and Bot Trading. Disabled modules are hidden from both the customer portal and the admin navigation. See Product Settings.
Configure copy trading
-
Admin / Owner Review the master traders list. Go to Trading → Master Traders. This shows all registered master traders with their follower count, total P&L, win rate, and status. On a fresh platform this list will be empty — master trader status is typically granted to qualifying customers. See Copy Trading.
-
Admin / Owner Monitor and manage individual master traders. Click on any master trader to review their equity curve, monthly returns, drawdown, risk score, and Sharpe ratio before allowing them to remain visible to followers. If a trader's risk profile is concerning, use the Status controls to pause or deactivate them. See Copy Trading.
-
Admin / Owner Monitor follower exposure. From a master trader's detail page, open the Followers tab to see each follower's copy mode (Proportional or Fixed), copy ratio, and copied P&L. The admin panel shows risk warnings for followers who are overleveraged relative to their account equity. Review these and use Pause Copying or Stop Copying for at-risk accounts. Key copy trading settings to be aware of: Max Open Trades, Minimum Equity, and Slippage Tolerance. See Copy Trading.
Configure bot trading
-
Admin / Owner Review bot statistics. Go to Trading → Bot Stats for an overview of all active and historical bots — total active bots, aggregate P&L, and a breakdown by strategy type (Spot Grid, Martingale, Reverse Martingale). See Bot Trading.
-
Admin / Owner Use Bot Mission Control for real-time monitoring. Go to Trading → Bot Mission Control to see all running bots with their customer, strategy, current P&L, and status in real time.
- To pause a bot: click Pause — it stops placing new orders but keeps existing positions open.
- To stop a bot: click Stop and choose whether to close all positions or keep them open. Closing all positions at market price may result in losses if the market is unfavorable — confirm before proceeding.
- To resume a paused bot: click Resume.
See Bot Trading.
What happens next
Once Copy Trading is enabled, qualifying customers can apply to become master traders and other customers can browse and follow them via the customer portal. Once Bot Trading is enabled, customers can configure and launch automated bots on their trading accounts.
Monitor Bot Mission Control regularly for bots with large unrealized losses or unusual activity. Monitor the master traders list for traders whose risk metrics deteriorate significantly.
